Over the Hill

Over the Hill guides

Checked 17 October 2026. Updated 2026-10-17.

Start with the system you need: recovery, exploration, wildlife photography or input support. Funselektor describes an exploration game to play at your own pace. Exact community ranges, timers and physics values are omitted where a direct supporting source is unavailable.

Systems worth a page

Read beginner tips for an exploration-first plan and the winch guide for recovery and meteorite context. The official demo tool list includes winch anchors, repair kits, a camp and a meteorite radar. Those tools are confirmed; precise ranges and reset timers are not verified here.

For progression, meteorites explains Pebbles and upgrades, while unlock cars covers objective rewards. Keep currency, vehicle unlocks and cosmetics separate when planning your next session.

What the studio actually listed

The June 2026 demo notes name winch anchors, repair kits, a camp, a meteorite radar, and more. Photo mode and a wildlife compendium that fills from polaroids are also in official posts. Steam lists 62 achievements. I am not inventing the hidden ones.

For stutter or invisible terrain, go to PC performance, which cites the developer technical FAQ. For a steering wheel, read controller and wheel support: gamepad support does not imply force-feedback support.

Questions

Is there an official Over the Hill manual?

I did not find one in the studio’s news feed. These pages cite Steam, the announcements, and dated community figures.

Should I race the objectives?

No. Steam marks the game playable at your own pace and without timed input. The guides are exploration checklists.
