Over the Hill

Over the Hill meteorites and Pebbles

Checked 17 October 2026. Updated 2026-10-17.

Meteorite collection is named in the April 2026 official playtest announcement. The June demo post names Pebbles as currency for upgrades. Exact payout and crew tables from earlier community research are omitted because their underlying pages are not directly sourced here.

How a rock becomes money

The official announcements establish meteorite collection and list a meteorite radar among the tools, alongside winch anchors, repair kits and a camp. Check the in-game tool and objective instructions for your current rock. This page does not claim a verified spawn schedule, extraction radius or location checklist.

Pebbles buy upgrades. They do not buy vehicles. That is the chain I want on one line: meteorite, Pebbles, upgrade. Cars still come from objectives. See unlock cars if a guide mixed the two up.

Planning a collection session

A prior community table contradicted its own solo advice and lacked a direct supporting page. It is not reproduced here. No exact Pebble reward or minimum driver count is verified for each rock size, so do not budget upgrades around those figures.

Solo play and up to four-player online co-op are supported. Coordinate with friends if you want help, but distinguish that supported party size from an unverified extraction requirement. Read multiplayer for individual progress rules and the winch guide for recovery context.

Questions

What are Pebbles in Over the Hill?

Pebbles are the in-game currency named in the June 2026 demo notes. You spend them on upgrades, not on vehicles.

Can one player pull every meteorite?

This page does not have a directly sourced or independently tested size-by-size crew requirement. Do not treat a community payout table as proof that every rock is soloable.
