I looked up the studio before I described the game, because the store page lists Funselektor Labs Inc. as both developer and publisher. Their 6 August 2026 progress note calls the team a self-published and self-funded small indie studio. I do not have founder names in the sources I checked, so I am not adding any.
Where they are, and what they shipped
The console announcement is datelined Vancouver, Canada, 28 October 2025. The catalogue that shows up as related titles on the Over the Hill Steam page: Absolute Drift (2015, app 320140), art of rally (2020, app 550320), Golden Lap (2024, app 2052040), and Over the Hill (2026, app 2929250).
Over the Hill passed 600,000 wishlists by that October 2025 note and 1,000,000 by 9 April 2026. The studio streamed, ran a Reddit AMA, appeared at the Triple-i Initiative, and took a booth at Gamescom 2026’s Indie Arena from 26 to 30 August. A June hotfix went out in Chinese as well as English.
How to reach them, and how not to
Game bugs and refunds are not this website. Community posts from the studio have used support@funselektor.com. The public site is funselektor.com, and the game page is funselektor.com/overthehill. YouTube, Twitch, and the photo-contest posts on Instagram, TikTok, and X are the channels they actually used in 2026.
