I can describe the camera loop because Funselektor described it. I cannot list the animals, because the species table I saw in a community database was not checked against the shipping build. Publishing a guessed bear, a guessed moose, and a guessed bird would be a fake checklist. This page stops where the evidence stops.
The loop that is official
The 12 June 2026 demo announcement describes snapping polaroids of wild animals to populate the compendium. That is the directly supported mechanic. It does not document every acceptance condition, species or interaction between camera modes.
No species list is inferred from silhouettes in promotional art. A verified animal checklist, spawn locations and exact photo requirements are not available in the cited material.
What I am leaving blank
An unchecked community animal list is not reproduced here. For another collection-related system, achievements lists the official total and highlighted public names, without deriving unlock conditions from a title.
The launch feature list also confirms built-in photo mode. Its full options and relationship to compendium photography are not documented here. The officially named regions are Canada and Algeria.
