Over the Hill available now
Checked 17 October 2026. Updated 2026-10-17.
I treated the 14 October 2026 Steam post as the moment the store page stopped being a coming-soon flag. The app id is 2929250. When I rechecked on 16 October, coming soon was off and the discount was still 20 percent.
What the post changed
The PC version became a full release, not Early Access, on Windows and Linux. The base price in the store data was $24.99, shown at $19.99. The research notes record €24.99 and £22.49 as the regional examples in that launch post. GeForce Now was listed as another way to play.
The Supporter Edition stayed a $9.99 extra: a special in-game name tag, exclusive cosmetics, a unique camping site, printable maps, and a 4K wallpaper album, using the 24 August wording because the launch post truncates the list. The soundtrack stayed a separate $9.99 app.
What it did not change
PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 were still “2027” from the August announcement. macOS was still absent. There was no patch note attached to launch day in the feed I checked two days later.
The line about future updates is the studio saying it is already working on more, and that it wants the game on more platforms. That is not a roadmap. Release date and price are the pages this post feeds.
